The author of the Fiero Rear Trunk LED Lamp Assembly with Switch (Lens) assumes no

Stop draining your battery when your Engine Lid is open for long periods of time (like when working on the Engine). This Lens includes a Switch that keeps the Lamp off even when the Engine Lid is open. It comes with a low power/high brightness LED version of the Lamp and an instruction Placard (perfect to keeping in your Glovebox). See photos below.


IMPORTANT

Measure the Rear Trunk Lamp Hole in the chassis of your Fiero to be sure this lens will fit properly. There have been reports that some Fieros may have different sized holes. It is not clear if this is due to factory variants or if prior owners have modified their Fieros for after market lenses or even lenses from other vehicles. This lens was designed to fit in stock 1986 to 1987 Fiero SE and GT models. It is not sure if this lens will fit properly in other Fiero Model/Years, so be sure to measure your Fiero Trunk Lamp Hole for proper fit before ordering this Lamp assembly.
